The OC Ranger Golf coaching staff were dominate at the 11th Washington Golf Association Champion of Champions over the week. Head coach Bjorn Bjorke won the Men's division and Assistant Coach Craig Larson got second in the Senior division.
The Champion of Champions tournament was played at The Home Course in DuPont, WA, and consisted of previous tournament champions from around the state of Washington and Northern Idaho.
Bjorke won the Men's division with a birdie on the first hole of a playoff. He shot rounds of 72-67, with the second-round score being the low round of the day pushing him to the top of the leaderboard, forcing a playoff.
"I feel great," Bjorke said afterward. "I shot 67 and it was pretty easy. I made a bunch of putts, I chipped one in for birdie, and I hit the ball real well."
This is Bjorke's second win of the season. He also won the Mid-Amateur Championship in early September.
Larson shot 74-66. He torched the course in the second round with seven birdies to force a playoff. He lost that playoff, finishing second.
Larson was the 2019 McCormick Woods Amateur champion.
