NOVEMBER ATHLETE OF THE MONTH - Allie Greene!
Allie has been dominant in the first four games of the season, leading the charge for Women's Basketball. She is averaging 21.5 points per game, putting her 5th in the NWAC in that category.
Allie was also one of two Rangers to be named to the Harold Williams Invite All-Tourney Team.
January 2024
Sophomore men’s basketball player Lenz DuPont is the January 2024 Athlete of the Month. Lenz is from Montreal, Canada, and played his freshman season at Gaston College in Dallas, North Carolina. Lenz is currently the leading scorer in the NWAC averaging 25.7 points per game and 8th leading rebounder averaging 9.7 per game. He scored 49 points in a game against Skagit Valley College earlier this year. Coach Felker says “Lenz is a very hard person to guard as he can shoot the three or score inside. He is extremely strong and a very good athlete.”

December 2023
The December 2023 Athlete of the Month is freshman women’s basketball player Lanessa Amacher. Originally from Raymond, Washington, Lanessa came to Olympic College to attend the nursing school. She has fit in nicely with the women’s basketball program and is one of the hardest workers on the team. Coach Alyson Chandler says “Lanessa is very coachable and plays hard on every minute of every games. Lanessa has led the Rangers in scoring and or rebounding in many games so far this season.”

November 2023
Sophomore men’s basketball player Tyriq Nance is the November 2023 Athlete of the Month. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Tyriq is in his 2nd year playing for the Rangers. Tyriq has been a leader for OC this season and has continually improved his game. 1st year coach, Paul Felker says “Tyriq is really athletic and provides us with real spark at times.”
October 2023
Gabrielle Becker from the cross country team has been named the October 2023 Athlete of the Month. Gabi has been an inspiration for all athletes with her dedication to cross country after a health scare early in fall quarter. She is an excellent student and is developing leadership skills through her involvement in Athletes Council.

September 2023
Kennedy Berry from the volleyball team has been named the September 2023 Athlete of the Month. Kennedy has not only excelled in the classroom but became the modern day digs leader for OC volleyball this past season. She is a member of the Athletes Council and has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills throughout her two years at OC.
