Coach Daryl Schruhl returns for his 14th season at the Olympic College Athletic Department.  Coach Schruhl has served as the Head Coach and as an Assistant Coach for the Cross Country and Track & Field teams.

Schruhl served as the Head Cross Country Coach at East Bremerton High in 1978 and the assistant cross country coach at Olympic High School from 2002-2010.

Schruhl was a driving force behind OC re-starting the men's and women's Cross Country and Track programs beginning with the 2010-2011 school year.

Graduating from East Bremerton High School in 1971, Schruhl is also a former runner and alumni of the Cross Country and Track programs that once existed at Olympic College before becoming extinct in the late 1970’s.  He continued his running career at Eastern Washington University.
