Seth Brotherton has been the Olympic Rangers Head Cross Country Coach since the 2020 season.  Before becoming the head coach, Seth was the Assistant Cross Country Coach for Olympic College, starting in 2017. During that time the Rangers have had several All-Regional Cross Country Athletes and a few All-Conference Cross Country Athletes as well.  Also, during his time with Olympic College he has helped many athletes successfully transfer to universities to continue their running careers.  

Seth is also an Assistant Coach for the Olympic College Track & Field team.  He is a certified Level 1 Coach with the USA Track and Field Association.  He also has been a coach for the Bremerton Jaguars Track & Field Club team since 2015.

Seth attended college at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, where he participated in Track and Field.  While there he earned All-Conference honors in both Indoor Track and Field and Outdoor Track and Field.  Seth also achieved several marks that earned him spots on the Top-Ten Performance List at the college.

He graduated from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.  In addition to coaching, he also works for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility as a Nuclear Engineer.
