Crowley Named ABCA/Rawlings All-American

Crowley Named ABCA/Rawlings All-American

Baseball's Nicho Crowley (Fr., Port Orchard, WA) has been named to the 2024 ABCA/Rawlings Pacific Association Division All-America Third Team, adding to his 1st Team All-NWAC and 1st Team All-West Region awards.

"When we signed Nicho we knew we were getting a guy with a lot of upside," shared Head Coach Ryan Parker, "We had no idea he would put up the type of numbers he did as a freshman.  To do what he did this year isn't unheard of but how he did it is unusual.  Not many, if any, guys pitch and catch at the college level. It puts a lot of wear and tear on your body, but Nicho was able to do it and did it at a very high level.  Eventually he's probably going to have to focus on pitching and being a DH just to save his body and allow his development to really take off.  For now, we want to celebrate his accomplishments.  We look forward to watching him grow over the next year and are excited to see where this game takes him."

Crowley finished with a .349 batting average with 19 RBI's and 17 runs scored. As a pitcher, he finished with a 4.83 ERA and 1.55 WHIP with 10 appearances and 31.2 innings pitched.
