SPOKANE, WA | The 2021-2022 men's and women's golf team opened up league play at Indian Canyon Golf Course in Spokane, Washington, hosted by the Community Colleges of Spokane on October 11-12. Sophomore Roger O'Hara (Bremerton, WA / Olympic HS) has two outstanding rounds, finishing tied for sixth overall.  O'Hara was very consistent both days, shooting 74 both days.  "Roger's ball striking was great both days," says head coach Bjorn Bjorke, "He remained patient throughout both rounds. If not for some average putting on very difficult greens, Roger could have been up at the top of the leaderboard."

Freshman West Lake (Port Townsend, WA | Port Townsend) had a solid first day but, like Roger, had difficulties adjusting to the greens.

The golf teams travel to Yakima, WA, to play the NWAC Championship Preview Match at Apple Tree Golf Course on October 17-18.
