2024 South Puget Sound Community College Invitational
Tumwater Valley Golf Club - Tumwater, WA
October 20 – 21, 2024
The third and final fall tournament was closer to home for the Rangers. Rain and wet conditions met the Rangers at Tumwater Valley Golf Club. Tumwater Valley will host a league match in the spring, so this invitation served as both healthy competition and early preview. The Lady Rangers placed 3rd, continuing a strong trend through the fall. Ava Guthrie's first round 81 placed her in third and in the final group on day 2. She finished with a season best 166 and 3rd place. Elizabeth Mellum matched Ava's 81 in round two placing her 5th overall. The men placed 4th, with Seth Headrick's 75-77 leading the team and placing him in the final group, as well, and 6th overall. Casey Carter shot 73 in round 2, 3rd best of the day, moving him into a tie for 14th. Inde Turgeon, and Ashton Purser (T18) also placed in the top 20.

2024 Highline Showdown Invitational
Oakbrook Golf Club - Lakewood, WA
October 14 – 15, 2024
The second fall tournament was closer to home for the Rangers. The weather at Oakbrook Golf was reminiscent of fall in the Pacific Northwest. The course was playing long with the cooler conditions, but the course was in great shape and the competition was strong. The men took 6th place, only 6 strokes behind hosts, Highline College. Seth Headrick (17th) and Orlando Chiqiti (19th) led the Rangers with top 20 finishes. The Lady Rangers placed 4th, led by team captain Elizabeth Mellum (12th) shooting 91 in round 1 and 92 in round 2. Ava Guthrie (90-95) placed 14th.

2024 Columbia Basin College League Match
Horn Rapids Golf Club - Richland, WA
September 30 – October 1
The Rangers started the 2024/25 season with road trip to the Tri-Cities. The weather was clear and course conditions were excellent. Columbia Basin College hosted the first and only league match of the fall season. They were not the most forgiving hosts, taking first place in both the women's and men's divisions. The Lady Rangers placed 6th, impressive considering only 3 golfers were eligible to compete and all 3 scores had to be used. Star freshman, Ava Guthrie, led the way shooting an impressive opening 82. She finished in 10th place. The men took 8th place as a team under the leadership of sophomore team captain, Orlando Chiqiti who tied for 15th place (77, 80). Sophomore Seth Headrick also placed in the top 20 with two rounds of 79.
