YAKIMA, WA | Olympic College Sophomore Nyah Dayton played her best rounds of the season at the NWAC Championships held at Apple Tree Golf Resort in Yakima, WA. "She played well the entire tournament," shares Head Coach Bjorn Bjorke, "And had a 3-stroke with two holes to play." An errant tee shot forced her to declare a lost ball and ended up taking a triple bogey on that hole, evaporating her lead in one hole. Jayda Thomas, Centralia College, and Nyah tied the 18th hole forcing a sudden play-off.
Each parred the first play-off hole forcing them to play the 18th hole again. Nyah hit an arrent approach shot into the par 5 and ended up with a bogey for the hole.
